Tulugaq Films is founded by Dennis Møller, a film director, photographer and poet from Greenland, currently based in Norway. My work sits at the intersection of indigenous storytelling, contemporary cinema, and visual documentation of cultures often marginalized in mainstream media.
Growing up in Greenland shaped my understanding of what it means to hold stories that the world needs to hear. Moving to Norway expanded my perspective on the Nordic region's complex relationship with indigenous peoples and the urgent need for authentic representation.
Through documentary, visual poetry, narrative film, and photography, I create work that honors the resilience, beauty, and complexity of indigenous communities. My approach combines traditional storytelling methods with contemporary filmmaking techniques, always prioritizing community collaboration and authentic representation.

Why This Work Matters
"Indigenous stories are not relics of the past, they are living narratives of resistance, resilience, and hope for the future."
For too long, indigenous peoples have been subjects in other people's stories rather than the authors of their own narratives. My mission is to shift that power dynamic to create space where indigenous voices are centered, celebrated, and amplified on their own terms.
Every project begins with community. I don't extract stories; I collaborate to share them. Through this work, I hope to contribute to a broader movement of decolonizing media, reclaiming representation, and ensuring that the next generation sees themselves reflected with dignity and truth.
This is more than filmmaking it's a responsibility, a privilege, and a commitment to justice through storytelling.
